ARTIST INFORMATION
On September 15, 2012, the Redondo Beach Center for Spiritual Living will present the Third Annual Peace NOW! Spirit Music Festival.
This all-day event will showcase 12 of today's finest inspirational acts, a Vendor's Village and a Food Court.
But the Peace NOW! Spirit Music Festival is about much more than music.
This year we are proud to partner with CAST, (Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking), a Los Angeles based outreach organization that provides shelter, legal advocacy and social services to the victims of MODERN-DAY SLAVERY.
We are committed to this cause for the long-term and know the artists who are attracted to perform at our Festival are as passionate about this issue as we are.
That's why, in order to provide as much support as possible for those who struggle for the barest of human dignity, we are limiting our stipend to $100 per act.
This year's Festival format will feature;
The Indoor Stage; will have informal seating and state-of-the-art sound. It will feature 3 separate shows; each show featuring 3 artists. Each artist will perform a 30 minute set.
The Outdoor Stage: will open the Festival and entertain the Vendor's Village and Food Court between the 3 Indoor Stage Shows.
No house band will be available. Performers are responsible for their own music. A baby grand piano is available for use on the Indoor Stage. CD tracks may be used.
Professional sound engineers will run sound on both stages. A full sound check will preceed each Indoor Stage Show.
An area will be provided for performers to sell their own product.
